Llancloudy Dorian takes Supreme at the APSB stud show in Victoria and goes on to take Best in Show POYS.

Llancloudy Sapphire takes Champion mare and Reserve Supreme Champion at the APSB stud show in Victoria.

Llancloudy Sally takes Supreme mare at the APSB stud show in Tasmania.

WELLBROW LANCASHIRE LAD - imp UK

Wellbrow Lancashire Lad was imported into Australia in August 2019 and settled into his new home with ease. Since his arrival, he has been trained to harness and saddle work, his work ethics are superb, very willing, intelligent, forward and confident.

Laddy was a prolific sire in the UK, stamped his offspring with the quality expected. Bred by Andrew Thorpe at Wellbrow, and purchased by Thomas Capstick from Murthwaite Fell Pony Stud (now deceased), he then went to stud at Bybeck Fell Ponies with Colin Roberts and under his guidance, produced incredible foals with manyin the show ring today. Colin kept a stunning colt foal by Lancashire Lad who really took my fancy.

We feel very honoured to have such an outstanding stallion with us at Llancloudy Fell Pony Stud and we hope to continue the tradition of breeding superb ponies through this incredible stallion.

We feel very privileged to own the stallion Wellbrow Lancashire Lad, which Her Majesty The Queen recently acquired the stunning mare by Bybeck Tiffany Too, whom was bred by Colin Roberts from Bybeck Stud.

Llancloudy Dorian, an outstanding stallion with proven progeny on the ground a real producer of quality offspring. His temperament is just incredible and everyone that has met him do not realise he is a stallion. Generous to a fault and incredibly polite. His action is expressive, light but very powerful, very high stepping and engaged from behind, he is breathtaking to watch. Dorian has impeccable conformation and is exactly what fell pony breeders strive for. A highly desired stallion in the UK and is considered a very great loss for the UK now that he is in Australia.

His show record is beyond exceptional, taking 25 Supreme Championships in two short summer seasons and POY (Pony Of The Year) consecutively for two years running in the UK.

Making his debut to the show world here in Australia, he holds his head up with pride. Attending the APBS Stud Show 2012, whereby he took the title for the fells, POY and a week later attended The Royal Melbourne Horse Show and subsequently takes Champion Fell, Supreme M&M title and is runner up for Best in Show.
